It is a wholly foreign owned enterprise invested by Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group, located in Xin’gang Economy and Technology Development Zone (NETDZ) in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.By now, the registered capital is USD 63 million and the total investment is RMB 1.4 billion. The Appliance Park covers an area of 371,179 m2, more than 2,600 employees and an annual production capacity of 10 million units.On Mar. 9th 2005, the groundbreaking ceremony was held in the Appliance Park, until now, the projects that have been completed and confirmed are listed as following:· 2005 Aug. 3rd, Small home appliances factory started production· 2006 Feb. 9th, Cooking appliances factory started production· 2006 Mar. 8th, Inauguration of Appliances Park· 2006 Sep. 27th, Motor factory started production· 2008 Oct. 29th, Electrical water heater factory started production· 2009 Sep. 23rd, New front loader washing machine factory ramp-up completed with launch of washer-dryer· 2011 Feb. 28th, Cooling development center was opened The Appliance Park includes 5 factories, which makes it a major production base of washing machines, cooking appliances, electrical water heater, motors and small home appliances.Meanwhile it has an international purchasing center and a warehouse with up-to-date international standards.There are 3 worldwide R&D centers for washing machines, refrigerators and cooking appliances, providing high quality Siemens brand products based on advanced concepts, innovative ideas and superior design for the domestic and oversea markets.
